Cufflinks are quite fashionable again. The silver cufflinks of jewellery designer Sabine Lang answer to the need to tell little stories at the wrist. Maritime subjects f.e. seem to be very suitable for those persons, who still dream of their own yacht or to be a lucky angler - they can show their ambitions symbolically and with style. This may be a nice starting point for a chat on the next party.
Sabine Lang shows a versatile approach to her profession as jewellery designer and goldsmith. She was educated at the Zeichenakademie Hanau before she studied design at the University of Applied Science Düsseldorf. Since 2005 she follows freelance work as a jewellery designer. Her ideas and designs are at the same time many-sided and surprising.
Her "Bubbles-collection" is realised with flimsy and transparent plastic material. Striking necklaces are made of linoleum which was supposed to be a breakfast plate in its first life. Flock coated plastic offers the initial point to set the course for bright coloured jewellery. That's not the end, but craft2eu concentrates
actually on her varied collection of cufflinks which may be attractive to both male and female.
